About Alicia

Alicia Olatuja (Master of Music in Vocal Performance, Manhattan School of Music) is a Recording Artist, Vocal Technician and LPI certified Life Coach specializing in Vocal Empowerment. She grew up immersed in a wide range of musical styles, including gospel, soul, jazz and classical. These influences have informed her teaching style and artistic journey performing in operas and musicals at venues including Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, Memphis Opera and Urban Arias. As a solo artist Alicia has performed globally with her jazz band at major festivals including the Montreal Jazz Festival, Newport Jazz Festival and Monterey Jazz Festival. 

Alicia was the featured soloist with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir at President Barack Obama’s 2nd Inauguration. Altogether, she has performed in over 10 countries and 135 cities. With over 15 years of experience, Alicia’s passions for performance, education, and holistic approach to vocal performance have culminated into an unique and exclusive approach to vocal empowerment.

About Vocal Breakthrough

In honor of this creed, Alicia launched the vocal empowerment online course Vocal Breakthrough Academy (VBA)- an online platform that offers vocal authenticity training through vocal mastery techniques and mindset mentorship to singers and non-singers alike. The mission of VBA is to help you learn how to break through self-doubt and comparison to transform & empower your voice through singing even if you’re not a singer. Once enrolled, members quickly learn the importance of taking the reins over their “inner” and “outer” voices.

VBA’s unique approach to vocal excellence offers a multi-step training that includes Tutorials, Masterclassess, Vocal Workshops, Group Performances & Group Vocal Empowerment Coaching sessions. Through VBA, members will be equipped with the training and tools to transform their voices while using singing as a vehicle for personal development.

Alicia has poured her heart and soul into devising an exclusive blueprint to vocal empowerment training.
